Discover the Milton Creek Restoration Project
In response to severe weather and flooding in Shoalhaven, the Shoalhaven Council has engaged ecoDynamics NSW to restore Milton Creek.
This project aims to repair damage from debris accumulation and erosion, enhancing the creek’s resilience. By lining the creek with rocks and using jute mesh for erosion control, we are creating a habitat for native vegetation and supporting biodiversity. Improving public access and integrating recreational spaces will further connect the community with the environment.
Scope of work
- Debris removal from creek
- Excavate and reinstate creek bank by importing material and compacting
- Reshape creek bank after compacting
- Rock armour the bottom 1.5m of the batter
- Rock line the floor of the creek
