Nelson Street Office project was a high-rise soil installation made easy. ecoDynamics’ Services team was thrilled to partner with Living Colour Landscapes delivering clever, efficient results in two 12-hour days.

The challenge

The challenge for the Services team was to move and install premium planter mix and planter boxes across three building levels—floors 5, 6, and 7. Moving that amount of soil to high levels of a building isn’t a simple task. However, using our blower truck equipment and technology combined with an experienced crew, we made light work of it!

Our solution

Our team worked on-site using an on-site crane and our blower truck’s high-capacity hose system to deliver soil safely and precisely to each floor. Because our blower trucks have powerful air pressure, long-reach hoses, and the ability to manage tricky urban access, we were able to place the soil exactly where it was needed. The result was a reduction in manual handling, improved safety, and keeping the schedule on track.

• 69m³ Premium Planter Mix installed on levels 5, 6, and 7
• 120m of small planter boxes installed across three levels.
