The Capitol Grand showcases unique and stunning elevated rooftop gardens designed by Jack Merlo, featuring private cabanas, entertainment areas and a private lounge.

Designed by world-renowned architect Bates Smart in partnership with LK Property Group, Capitol Grand is 180m tall and located on Melbourne’s iconic Yarra River.

It is the tallest landmark building outside the CBD, boasting panoramic views across Melbourne.

Our Services team deployed its innovative material blower solution to create a healthy elevated rooftop garden with the help of the Multiplex construction crew, who used the site’s tower crane to install a smaller crawler crane onto the garden level.

We used this crane to lift our specialist blowing equipment and act as an anchor to prevent the pipework from damaging the building façade.

We efficiently installed 235m3 of soil and mulch in a week at the Capitol Grand project, ensuring the best platform for garden establishment and longevity.
