Meet Caroline Kelly: our new General Manager of Mulch and Services

ecoDynamics welcomed Caroline Kelly as the new General Manager of Mulch and Services mid-2024. With a 27-year career in transport and logistics, Caroline brings a fresh perspective, a passion for people, and a drive to grow and innovate within the industry.
A fresh perspective for growth and innovation
“What ecoDynamics does is exciting – it’s specialised, innovative, and makes a real impact on the environment and the community,” says Caroline. “Every day is different, and working across two distinct areas within the business presents new challenges and opportunities.”
Caroline’s focus is on growing and diversifying the Mulch and Services division, identifying new markets, and fostering both internal and external growth. Aligning the business culture is a key priority, ensuring teams can thrive and seize new opportunities.
“It’s important to lean into the strengths of each division. Mulch and Services can support our internal Landscaping customer, providing leads and sharing knowledge. The expertise within ecoDynamics is extensive, and by collaborating, we can strengthen the business as a whole.”
A passion for people and connection
Caroline’s leadership philosophy is people-first.
“In every decision I make, our people are at the forefront. I focus on what makes them tick, building connections with both customers and teams, and fostering an open, growth mindset. Bringing fun, support, and energy to the workplace is key.”
Her career began in data entry, progressing through customer service, operations, and senior management in global freight forwarding. Despite her vast experience, she has never forgotten her roots.
“Every person in a business has a role to play. It’s essential to remember where you started and share your knowledge to uplift those around you.”
Sustainability and a unified vision
Sustainability is at the heart of Mulch and Services, and Caroline is eager to enhance ecoDynamics’ impact.
“We take waste timber and repurpose it into valuable products, reducing environmental impact while educating customers and the market on sustainable practices. Working with like-minded partners aligns with our commitment to B Corp principles and future generations.”
Her goal is to unify the team, merging mulch and services together while collaborating across the ecoDynamics Group to achieve a shared mission.
Embracing challenges and looking ahead
Transitioning from a different industry, Caroline initially anticipated challenges in gaining credibility. However, she was welcomed with open arms.
“It’s been an exciting journey so far, and I’ve enjoyed every moment.”
Her personal mantra? (She has a few!)
- Never forget where you came from.
- Share your knowledge to empower others.
- Walk alongside your team on the journey.
With her leadership, ecoDynamics is set to strengthen its impact, drive growth, and continue making a meaningful difference in sustainability and innovation.
