Polyglot Theatre: Growing Creativity with Native Plants

In 2025, ecoDynamics is proud to continue our partnership with Polyglot Theatre, supplying native plants that help bring their imaginative, sensory theatre productions to life. So far this year, we’ve supported six shows — with a seventh scheduled for October.

This year was also a milestone for Polyglot, as they took their creativity to the world stage with a performance at New York’s Lincoln Center. While transporting thousands of plants overseas wasn’t practical, we proudly cheered them on from home — celebrating their success in connecting children and communities with nature through art.

Our partnership with Polyglot began in 2022, founded on a shared belief: nature transforms spaces, sparks imagination, and builds community. Since then, ecoDynamics has supplied tens of thousands of native plants for performances in specialist schools across Victoria. These living landscapes turn classrooms and gymnasiums into immersive environments where art and ecology come together.

Each show is a feat of creativity and logistics. On Mondays, our team delivers 5,000–6,000 plants — mostly Australian native tube stock alongside advanced trees — to set the stage. By Friday, after the final performance, the plants are carefully collected and returned to our nursery, ready to be repurposed for future projects.

What unfolds in between is truly special: a sensory-rich experience where children explore shadows, textures, and shapes inspired by the natural world. These productions don’t just spark artistic curiosity — they help young people form a deeper connection with their environment.

At ecoDynamics, we’re proud to support partnerships like this one. Together with Polyglot, we’re inspiring curiosity, creativity, and care for nature in communities across Victoria — and now, around the world.
