Ecodynamics has delivered one of the largest landscaping packages on the newly completed Pacific Highway Upgrade that runs between Woolgoolgola and Ballina, Northern NSW.
The Pacific Highway upgrade is the largest road infrastructure project in Australia, connecting Sydney with Brisbane.
Our works were on the Tyndale to Maclean section, including the standout Maclean Bypass/Entry work.
3-6 month lead times to plant +150,000 plants on a major highway upgrade? No worries!
This was a major landscaping package, conducted with minimal lead times with significant plant supply logistical hurdles to overcome.
Through significant networking and nursery industry supply knowledge, we were able to procure over 150,000 plants from 7 different supplying nurseries to deliver the project plant list in under 6 months lead times.
We consistently met project construction timeframes, managed significant design changes throughout the process and maintained the health of the planted stock with minimal plant losses.
Stats at a glance:
- 90,000 Tubes
- 50,000 140mm Pots
- 17,000 200mm pots
- 1900 semi advanced trees
- 202 Palm Trees, ranging from 1m to 6m stem heights.
- 47,000m2 of mulch spread.
We have had excellent rates of success with the establishment of all plants installed, and are contracted to undertake ongoing maintenance on the project.
