About the Alamanda College mulch blowing project
Alamanda College engaged ecoDynamics’ Services team to enhance its outdoor spaces by installing mulch on their playgrounds and the hard to reach areas between portable classrooms. Using our state-of-the-art blower truck, we efficiently spread 75m³ of Softfall mulch in the playground and 505m³ of Mossrock 12mm mulch between the portable buildings.

To maximise efficiency and minimise disruption to the school’s activities, the Services team implemented a strategic combination of blower and slinger trucks.
The blower truck was stationed on-site with a hose for precise application, eliminating the need for repeated trips with wheelbarrows. And when the blower truck required refilling with mulch, our slinger truck swiftly delivered mulch directly into the blower unit to maintain a seamless, uninterrupted operation.
This approach allowed us to complete the installation of our popular Mossrock mulch in just three days. This was a significant time reduction compared to conventional methods.
