Julian McCarthy Landscapes engaged ecoDynamics’ Services to deliver the Aurora Apartments materials installation project. This was a high-rise installation with a tight timeline and challenging site conditions located in the heart of Melbourne.
Our experienced Services team mobilised with just a week’s notice and completed the high-rise apartment project in just 2.5 days. The Aurora Apartments project required delivery and installation of bulk materials to Level 8 that included:
- 11 m³ Scoria 14 mm
- 30 m³ Premium Planter Mix soil.
Unique site requirements
Our Services team used a combination of innovative methods and specialist equipment that included:
- A mobile floor crane – used to lift and safely position pipes for setup
- Our blower truck – equipped with a long, high-pressure hose – to move soil and aggregate up 8 storeys, ensuring precise, efficient placement in the planters
- Our slinger truck that loaded materials into the blower truck at street level – maintaining a continuous supply and maximising productivity.
This clever, coordinated approach allowed us to safely and effectively deliver materials to the upper levels of a busy high-rise building with minimal disruption.
