About the Melbourne Square soil blowing project
The $2.8 billion Melbourne Square Project development features expansive European-inspired parklands that are a vital green retreat within the heart of Southbank. This includes piazzas, outdoor terraces, lush lawns, public gardens, and tree-lined boulevards. The 3,745 m² park will occupy 20% of the site footprint—seamlessly linking six future towers via a connected footpath network.
Melbourne Square Project is designed by the internationally acclaimed landscape architecture firm TCL. The vision takes cues from Melbourne’s own Royal Botanic Gardens while also drawing inspiration from iconic urban landscapes in Paris, Berlin, and Madrid.

To help bring Melbourne Square Project’s green space to life, Delta Group engaged ecoDynamics Services. The brief was to supply and install 800m³+ Premium Soil for the extensive landscaping works.
Given the project’s complexity, our team employed a combination of dumping, blowing, and slinging techniques to install the soil across varied terrain and tight access areas. The two-month delivery was underpinned by close collaboration between our sales and operations teams, who conducted multiple site visits to carefully plan for efficient installation while preserving the design integrity.
