Celebrating 37 Years of Growth, Innovation and Greener Futures
Last month, we celebrated 37 years of landscaping, 37 years of planting, 37 years of operating some incredible fleet and equipment, and 37 years of creating greener futures across Australia.
To mark the milestone, we asked a few of our State Managers to reflect on some of their favourite projects throughout their time at ecoDynamics — projects that challenged our teams, showcased our capabilities, and left a lasting impact.
Angus Curry, VIC State Manager – Landscaping
EastLink
“I spent two years working directly on this project and absolutely loved it. It came with plenty of challenges, but I had the opportunity to work alongside fantastic crews and some wonderful people. Even now, nearly 20 years later, I can still drive along EastLink and feel incredibly proud of the landscape outcomes and how well they’ve stood the test of time.”
ParkWest Industrial Estate
“This project involved the complete demolition of an existing landscape and transforming the site into a high-quality new environment. The works included irrigated turf, garden beds, fencing, automated gates, and a range of landscape features. It was rewarding to see the full transformation and deliver such a polished final result.”
Mark Barrett, SA State Manager – Landscaping
South Parklands
“One of our favourite projects because the end result speaks for itself — it’s genuinely hard to take a bad photo there. Seeing such a large civil and environmental project become a well-used public space with strong plant establishment has been really rewarding.”
R2P
“Most people experience this project driving through at speed rather than walking it, but we’re really proud of how well the landscaping established along such a major corridor. One of those projects where the public probably doesn’t notice the detail consciously — but they notice when it’s done well.”
Brendan McAlpine, NSW State Manager – Landscaping
Western Sydney Airport (WSA)
“For years to come, I’ll be able to look back on this project and see how our work contributed to such a significant piece of infrastructure. It’s rewarding to know the landscaping outcomes we delivered will form part of the airport’s legacy for future generations.”
M7 – M12 Intersection
“This project links directly with the Western Sydney Airport development and represents another major milestone for New South Wales. Being involved in projects like this gives you a real sense of pride, knowing the work we deliver today will have a lasting impact for decades to come.”
As we celebrate 37 years in business, we’re also recognising another important milestone — our second birthday as a Certified B Corporation. Over the decades, ecoDynamics has continued to evolve, grow, and innovate. Becoming B Corp Certified reinforced our commitment to transparency, accountability, and using business as a force for good.
While a lot has changed over 37 years, our purpose remains the same: delivering meaningful environmental outcomes and creating greener futures for generations to come.
