Cardinia Road Rail Landscaping Project

ecoDynamics delivered soft landscaping for the Cardinia Road Rail Project, planting over 42,000 natives and trees. In partnership with Wamarra, the team helped create greener commuter spaces as part of Victoria’s Big Build and the Car Parks for Commuters program.

About the Cardinia Road-Rail landscaping project

As part of Victoria’s Big Build, ecoDynamics VIC Landscaping was engaged to deliver landscaping for the Cardinia Road Rail Project—a major infrastructure upgrade that includes a new elevated station, a 50% expansion of the commuter car park, and enhanced community amenities.

The Major Road Projects Authority (MRPA) envisioned a station precinct that not only improved connectivity but also created welcoming, green spaces for local families. In line with this vision and the Victorian Government’s Car Parks for Commuters Program, ecoDynamics worked in collaboration with Wamarra to revitalise and green the space.

From native plantings to large-scale mulching and soil preparation, our team helped soften the station’s hard infrastructure and deliver a more inviting environment for commuters, cyclists, and the broader community.

The result is a station precinct that supports active transport, provides shade and amenity, and creates a sense of place in a rapidly growing suburb.
