About the Kororoit Creek Road blowing and hydromulching project
Located between two operational oil refineries and accessible only via active rail lines, the Kororoit Creek Road site presented a unique logistical challenge for landscaping works.
Engaged by the Level Crossing Removal Project’s Western Program Alliance (WPA), ecoDynamics Services was tasked with restoring vegetation by installing topsoil and applying hydromulch to stabilise exposed soil mounds adjacent to the train tracks.

Navigating Complex Site Access
Access to the work zone required careful coordination with the Kororoit Creek Road construction crew. To ensure safety and efficiency, our team scheduled all works over a weekend rail shutdown—strategically positioning our blower and hydroseeding equipment across the tracks during this window of opportunity.
Smart planning, safe execution
Preparation for hydromulching included the supply and placement of 56 cubic metres of our proprietary soil blend. Leading up to the works, our Services team executed multiple depot runs to stockpile all necessary materials. On the day, a well-orchestrated process saw our blower truck arrive early and remain on site, while our slinger truck completed continuous return trips to maintain a steady supply of material.
Through strong collaboration, detailed planning, and precision execution, ecoDynamics Services helped stabilise and green a high-risk, high-restriction site—bringing environmental function and visual amenity back to an otherwise harsh industrial corridor.
