About the Caulfield to Dandenong (Skyrail) Level Crossing Removal Project (LCRP) landscaping project
As part of the Victorian Government’s transformative Caulfield to Dandenong LCRP, Lendlease engaged ecoDynamics VIC Landscaping to landscape over 5km of vibrant new parklands for the community beneath the skyrail.
This ambitious initiative removed nine level crossings and elevated the rail line—creating 17km of new walking and cycling paths and unlocking space equivalent to 11 football fields beneath the Skyrail for public use.
Turning rail space into public green space
By elevating the train line, the project created an entirely new landscape beneath it. Our team was engaged to build Sections 1B, 2 and 3 of the new linear park network—transforming once-inaccessible rail corridors into thriving, community-first parklands.
