In collaboration with the North East Link Project, we sent 19 students from Belle Vue Primary a native tree from our Nursery with a pack of supplies to care for their tree at home, ready for planting at the school later this Spring.

The students will plant their trees alongside more than 200 already that our team planted at Belle Vue Primary School earlier this year, helping to create a dense screen along the north-west edge of the school’s playing fields. When completed, this planting will add an extra 2,000 shrubs and grasses to help create a healthier understory for the school’s existing trees.

The trees being planted at Belle Vue Primary School are among the first of more than 30,000 to be planted in local areas for North East Link – one of the largest tree planting programs delivered for a major transport project in Victoria.
